Look at these sweet ukulele t-shirts that my friend made. The two white ones I’ve had for a few years and are a bit faded. Excuse the crumples, I don’t have set of drawers at the moment and I’m having to make do with one of those ikea hanging things which just encourage you to crumple up your clothes.

Marilyn Monroe plays the ukulele
I’m sure many of you have seen this before, but as the great Tony Curtis passed away recently, I think it’s certainly worth watching again, and it’s Marilyn Monroe playing the ukulele.
I found this photo in an old article on the LA Times website. Apparently she’s playing, Happy Days are Here Again, after finding out that her husband, Arthur Miller, had been acquitted of contempt of Congress for declining to name former Communist associates. It’s 1958 and she’s preparing to star in the Billy Wilder film, Some Like it Hot.
